1. About this policy
This policy describes the SAKG website and the initial account and profile release of the SAKG app. SAKG means “Start Again, Keep Going”. For privacy questions, contact the SAKG team at sakglimited@gmail.com. This policy is version 2026-10-11. It does not claim that planned features are already collecting data.
2. Information we use
When you create an account, we use your email address, account identifier and authentication records. If you sign in with Google, Google provides basic account information such as your email and profile details. Your profile includes the name, username, fitness goal and language you choose. We record confirmation that you meet the 18+ signup age and the policy version you accept; we do not ask for a date of birth in the initial signup. Optional social handles and referral details are collected only when you provide them. Technical information such as IP address and security logs may be processed by our hosting and authentication providers.
3. Why we use it
We use account information to authenticate you, save and restore your profile, communicate sign-in codes, provide language preferences, handle support requests and prevent misuse. Information needed to provide your account is used for that service. Optional public sharing depends on your choice. Security, fraud prevention and service maintenance rely on legitimate operational needs where permitted by law. Where consent is required, we ask for it and record your decision. We do not use signup codes as marketing emails.
4. What other members can see
Your completed public profile may show your display name and username. Social handles are included only when you explicitly enable sharing, and you can change that choice. Your phone number, private account email, age confirmation, consent history and private referral records are not part of the public profile. Public information may be copied by other people, so share it carefully.
5. Service providers
Supabase provides account authentication and database services. Google handles Google sign-in when you choose it. Resend is the selected provider for sign-in email delivery. Cloudflare hosts this website and provides network and security services. These providers process information needed for their role and may process it outside Nigeria. We use service access controls and provider arrangements to protect it. We do not sell your personal information.
6. Website storage and analytics
This information website has no signup form, advertising trackers or optional analytics. We do not set application cookies on these pages. Cloudflare may process network information and apply security measures as part of hosting. The mobile app stores session and preference information on your device so that you can remain signed in and retain your chosen language and theme.
7. Retention and security
We retain account and profile information while it is needed to provide your account. After a verified deletion request, we remove or anonymise information that is no longer needed, subject to legal requirements, security investigations and provider backup lifecycles. Limited records may be kept where necessary to meet those purposes. We restrict private profile access and keep privileged credentials out of the app. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Contact us if you suspect a privacy or account-security issue.
8. Your choices and rights
You may request access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction or an explanation of how it is used. You may withdraw optional sharing consent by changing your profile preferences. Where applicable, you may object to processing or request a portable copy. Email sakglimited@gmail.com from your registered address to make a request; we may verify your identity. You may also raise a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission at the NDPC website.
9. Adults only and future features
SAKG signup is for people aged 18 and over. Contact us if you believe a child has registered. Workout media, location tracking, diet tools, AI chat, payments and WhatsApp integration are planned features and are not collected or enabled by the initial account release. Before enabling them, we will explain the information involved and request any necessary permissions or consent.
10. Policy updates
